Gobbling up an estimated $84.5 million over the Thanksgiving holiday, Ralph Breaks the Internet [RALP2] scored the second highest five-day total behind only Frozen's $93.6 million in 2013. The animated sequel drew 51% female and 63% under the age of 25.
Creed II [CREE2] debuted in second place with $55.8 million its frist five days, beating Creed's $45 million from 2 years ago. The boxing sequel connect with an audience that was 57% male and 64% over the age of 25.
Dr. Seuss' Grinch [HTGSC] finished third with $41.8 million, bringing its total to $180.4 million.
Last weekend's champ Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindewald [FBST2] took in $40.0 million for fourth place. The sequel tumbled 50% over the 3-day weekend portion to advance its sum to $117.1 million.
Bohemian Rhapsody [FREDI] rounded out the top five at $19.4 million and $152.0 million after four weekends.
Instant Family [ISFAM] added another $17.4 million at the sixth spot. The family film drop just 14% over the 3-day from its opening weekend.
Robin Hood [RBNHO] opened in seventh place with just $14.2 million.
Widows [WIDOW] was eighth with $10.6 million, down 36% over the 3-day from its debut.
In their first weekend of wide expansion, Green Book [GRNBK] moved up to ninth with $7.5 million while Boy Erased [BEARS] stayed at twelfth with $1.5 million.
