Escape Room [TMAZE] debuted in second place with $18.0 million. Audience for the thriller was evenly split between the sexes and 53% over the age of 25.
Mary Poppins Returns [MPOPN] finished third at $15.8 million, bringing its total to $138.7 million.
Staying at the fourth spot, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse [ASPDR] took in $13.0 million, and $133.9 million after its fourth weekend.
Bumblebee [TFRM6] slipped to fifth with $12.8 million and $97.1 million in total.
The Mule [TMULE] packed another $9.0 million to increase its load to $81.1 million.
Vice [CHENY] held a stellar 75% in its second weekend to finish seventh with $5.8 million. The biopic has earned $29.8 million.
Holmes & Watson [HLMWT] declined 54% from its opening to $3.5 million and $28.4 million overall.
