Whisper Numbers: The Little Things to add up to first place

Warner Bros. continues its day-n-date release strategy by dropping The Little Things [LTHNG] on a football-free weekend. The R-rated crime thriller stars a trio of Oscar winners in Denzel Washington, Rami Malek and Jared Leto.  However, reviews are mixed, which may discourage older adults from visiting theaters that are open in roughly 60% of the country. Potential moviegoers could just stay home and catch it on HBO Max. Warner Bros. has not provided an exact theater counts, which based on Wonder Woman 1984 likely numbers around 2000. The Little Things could bring in around $4.0 million.

After two weeks at the top, The Marksman looks to finish second at around $1.2 million.

Expanding wide to 818 theaters in its second weekend, Our Friend [TFRND] may not match the $250K gross from its opening weekend.
