Grossing more in one weekend than any of Warner Bros.’ 2021 theatrical releases, The Batman [TBATM] led the weekend box office with an estimated $128.5 million. Large format screens represented 30% of the business. The dark superhero flick skewed more than 65% male and more than 60% between the age 18 and 34.
After a two-week reign, Uncharted [UNCHT] finished second with $11.0 million and a cumulative total at $100.3 million.
Dog [DOG] ranked third with $6.0million in its third weekend, bringing its total to $40.0 million.
Spider-Man: No Way Home [SPID8.BW] was fourth with $4.4 million and $786.5 million after 12 weekends.
Death on the Nile [DNILE] rounded out the top 5 at $2.7 million for a fourth weekend sum of $37.1 million.
