New trailer for Ponniyin Selvan

The full-length trailer for part one of the Tamil-language epic Ponniyin Selvan [PS1] has been released. Based on the novel by Kalli, the historical epic chronicles the rise of Rajaraja I, an emperor of the Chola Dynasty who ruled Southern India 1000 years ago.  Mani Ratnam directed the film with music by AR Rahman. Ponniyin Selvan opens in theaters worldwide on September 30th.
