Walt Disney was released the full-length trailer for the comedy sequel Freakier Friday [FREK2]. Jamie Lee Curtis [JLCUR] and Lindsay Lohan [LLOHA] reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman from the beloved 2003 film. They switch bodies once again with two younger teenagers, played by Julia Butters [JBUTT] as Ann's own daughter and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan as the daughter of the Ann's fiance, played by Manny Jacinto [MJACI]. Directed By Nisha Ganatra, Freakier Friday opens in theaters on August 8th.
The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.
