Marvel has revealed the teaser trailer for the sequel Avengers: Endgame [AVNG4], which follows up the events of Avengers: Infinity War when Thanos wielded the Infinity Gaunlet to wipe out 50% of all living creatures. The surviving Avengers are joined by Jeremy Renner [JRENN] as Hawkeye ans Paul Rudd [PRUDD] as Ant-Man, who may hold the answer to reversing the process. Originally scheduled to open May 3rd, Avengers: Endgame will now arrive a week early on April 26th.
Fox has unveiled the official trailer for the inspirational drama Breakthrough [BRKTH] based on a true story. Chrissy Metz, Josh Lucas, Topher Grace and Mike Colter star in the film, which opens Easter weekend on April 12th.

Marvel has released the second trailer for the feature adaptation of Captain Marvel [CMARV], a prequel to the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brie Larson [BLARS] stars as the title superhero, while Samuel L. Jackson [SLJAC] portrays Nick Fury during the 1990s. Captain Marvel arrives on March 8th.
With little new competition in the post-holiday frame, Ralph Breaks the Internet [RALP2] ruled a sceond weekend with an estimated $25.8 miliion. The animated sequel declined 54% to bring its total to $119.3 million after 12 days,
Dr. Suess' The Grinch [HTGSC] moved up a spot to second with $17.7 million, and $203.5 million in total.
Creed II [CREE2] finished third at $16.8 million, down 53% from its opening weekend. The boxing sequel has hit $81.2 million.

Jessica Rothe [JROTH] leads the returning cast as she must die and relive the same day repeatedly in order to catch a killer who's now after her friends as well. Happy Death Day 2U arrives in theaters on February 14th.
With only one new film in the typically slow weekend after Thanksgiving, Ralph Breaks the Internet [RALP2] will surf to another victory at the box office while three other leftovers jockey for the second position. Coco slipped 46% from its debut last year, while Moana dropped 50% in 2016. Ralph Break the Internet will likely to be more front-loaded as a sequel and decay 52% to around $27 million.

The lead character is a 12-year-old genius who comes from a long line of criminal masterminds. He finds himself in a battle against a hidden race of powerful fairies who may be behind his father’s disappearance. Directed by Kenneth Branagh [KBRAN], Artemis Fowl is set to arrive next summer on August 9th.
Gobbling up an estimated $84.5 million over the Thanksgiving holiday, Ralph Breaks the Internet [RALP2] scored the second highest five-day total behind only Frozen's $93.6 million in 2013. The animated sequel drew 51% female and 63% under the age of 25.
Creed II [CREE2] debuted in second place with $55.8 million its frist five days, beating Creed's $45 million from 2 years ago. The boxing sequel connect with an audience that was 57% male and 64% over the age of 25.

Walt Disney has unveiled the teaser trailer for the CG "live-acton style" remake of the animated classic The Lion King [LIONK]. Born to rule the African savanna, the lion cub Simba is instead cast out on his own. He rediscovers his destiny as an adult and journeys home to reclaim his rightful throne. Directed by Jon Favreau [JFAVR], The Lion King will rule beginning July 19th.
