The animated sequel topped Despicable Me 3’s $72.4 million in 2017, while falling short of Minions: Rise of Gru’s $107 million in 2022. Hispanic moviegoers made up 41% of the audience.

Written and directed by Chris Weitz [CWEIT], Afraid opens in theaters on August 30th.

Judy Greer [JGREE] and Pete Holmes play the parents of a family directing their church's holiday performance. Produced by The Kingdom Company, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever debuts in theaters on November 8th.
Warner Bros. has dropped the second trailer for the thriller Trap [TRAP] written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan [MNSHY]. Josh Hartnett [JHART] stars as a father who takes his teenage daughter to a pop concert. Once inside, he learns that the police has the venue surrounded in order to capture a notorious serial killer, who happens to be him. Trap opens in theaters on August 2nd.
