New trailer for Assassin's Creed

Fox has launched the final trailer for the sci-fi film Assassin's Creed [ASCRD] based on the hit videogame series.  This last trailer finally explains the science of the Animus machine and the mythology of the centuries-old battle between Assassins and Templars, while getting rid of the ill-fitting Kanye West music.  Assassin's Creed dives into theaters on December 21st.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.
