The one good thing you learn from HSX that could apply to the real stock market is humility
One of the best things that you learn by playing HSX is often you can be wrong. I've made lots of mistakes, but I've learned from them very quickly. For example, it's always tempting to invest based on your own personal tastes, but that can be a bad guide to investing. If a stock is tanking, but your favorite stars are in it and it sounds like a good movie to you, you should still short it. You have to put your own emotions aside. That's a great lesson for the real stock market.
