First off, the ball started rolling on most of the big negative reset movers between 5pm EST to 3am EST. People were already taking profits and short/sell or long/cover on stuff that moved big yesterday and that is a general weekday pattern on stuff not opening on weekends or not moving on big news.
Reset generally just validates reversals or tells you it was wrong to jump ship early.
Second....just because it moves at reset doesn't mean its gonna stay in that same direction until 8am or 11am or whatev.
Third...if a stock moves 5% then yeah it was worth it. If it moves 10% it was really worth it. If it moves 3% still value.....its called trading and people run the same risk of a wash/loss as they do a profit when they trade at reset or any other time of day.
When you wake up, if you are holding the way you should have you'll be alright. If not, you should have taken profits sometime the day before. End of the day, its fake money and its really only about being right and wrong on a position and not worth getting upset over.
