After giving a short, direct answer....here is the long thought out one...
If all you are going to do is flip, the price is locked in from adjust until reset. So you lose no H$ by delaying your move. Whether you do it the moment of adjustment (by advance trade sell/buy at 1H$ or at 1159 PM PDT, the price is the same.
If somenone intended to sell and plow their 40M into some other securities, probably the earlier the better.
A day like today, with a lot of portfolios reinvesting a lot of cash, many securities that were held the "right" way have moved more in the same direction. (of course a lot of these had moved in the "wrong" direction in the run up to HPOT8 adjust as many players sold off to raise cash)
There will be another day like that when TFRM3 and then HPOT8 delist and mucho cash gets freed up.
My own port was up about 4M or so at adjust and is now up about 11M with no real trading after the HPOT8 reversal.
