freedom to share. When THE ROBE went wide, one by one theaters had to change their screens to adapt, or not be able to show the new fangled aspect ratio. Prices rose too.
There is nothng new to it. Eventually, all movies will have sound, be in color, and most in wide screen. Then 3D. Prices will even out when studios and theaters find that people will only pay the 2D price (or go from a 2D to a 3D and use their own glasses)
Meanwhile, the FUND is and HSX toy and has plenty of product to keep the manager busy. Last go around, HPOT8 probably accounted for over a quarter of the profits.
