From what I've seen, they usually climb the second day, too, if it's a big enough movie.
I used to pick up a blockbuster IPO on Saturday, then sell it by Sunday evening only to see the thing still rising on Monday. The ones priced to start in the 90's can easily move up 20 points over the first two days, IPOs like Indiana Jones, Part 16, or Twilight Part 9 and a 1/2 =) I haven't paid as much attention to the Sat. IPOs that launch at a lower price. But a look a quick look at GIJO2 today (Mon.) should answer some of your question.
