The first time she will not know that it stinks until she sees it herself. She will hear about the bad reviews but just brush them off thinking that the critics just do not like the source material like she does...

So she will go and watch the movie even if it stinks.

Then she will return a second time,... just to verify that it stinks.

Then she will return a third (on a slow weekday) so she can take notes about how the movie deviated from the book and what exactly made the movie version stink (so she can trade notes with other friends who liked the book).

Yes, uberfans always watch the movie three times (stinky or not).
