It could be that it was posted on a Friday evening/night when many traders were logged off, as opposed to Sunday afternoon or Monday during the day when there might be more traders online. Thus, less people to drive demand.
It could be that the stocks mentioned were uninteresting and thus less people were inclined to take positions.
It could be that anyone who wanted "in" on the stocks all bought at once, thus causing the brakes to be applied quickly, and once the brakes were eased, no one else was around to further buy in, so the price didn't move anymore (as opposed to buyers gradually buying in over the course of a few hours, thus never letting the brakes to be a factor).
It could be that people had money sunk elsewhere (like SWHTM) and didn't want to move it from a "sure" money maker like that to a bunch of potential boom/busts.
And many other possibilities.
