Investment math on Avengers 2... Please let me know if I am missing a variable here or I didn't calculate correctly
some basic assumptions: Avengers 2 will delist at $480 (around 8% drop from the first one). You can debate this I guess, but I have to use a number :)
That is an eventual profit of $280,000,000 (minus commission $220,000) = $279,780,000
The movie is most likely two years away. (730 days)
$279,780,000/730 = $383,260.64 (divide by 100,000 shares) = $3.83 (a day)
So, If I think I can use my $22,000,000 initial investment to earn more that $3.83/day with short term lower priced stocks.. Avengers 2 would not seem to be a wise move (unless I owned most stocks already)
