depends on the stock, but always focus on what the movie can potentially make at B.O.
look at concept for the movie, release date, talent attached and hang on to the stock up to the point where you think it will top out at the B.O.
I have stocks w/ 10 mill+ profit on it cause the still have not reached its full potential in my estimates.
On the flipside, I have stocks that I make 5-6% profit and move on, cause they won't make that much at B.O.
But I trade them because they move and are profitable.
