I didn't run a sequel of the Original Idea Fund
Because that would have been contrary to the idea of the fund. But if you can figure out a slightly different take on it, you might want to try that. For example, my criteria for a movie based on an original idea was that it had to be an original screenplay. But the problem is that some of the best original ideas for a movie do not necessarily come from original screenplays. Beasts of the Southern Wild is a very original movie - but it's based on a play, so it didn't qualify. There are a number of Adam Sandler movies, on the other hand, which are technically original screenplays, but the premises are not particularly original. So you might want to call it the Original Concept Fund, or something like that.
