I appreciate Roger Moore's answer to my question about how share selling works, and when trading closes on shares, etc. I have another question:
Is there a "recommended" time of when to sell shares? I saw that with some moviws which opened this weekend, the shares dropped sharply, because of a major underperformance of expectations at the box office. I read somewhere that it is "recommended" that people should sell shares of a given stock that they've made a good amount of money on, the week of, or the week before, the opening of a movie? Is this most advisable, or what is.. the "usual strategy". Any pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.
