NEVER feed puppy food as it contains too much protein so I wean to adult food when the dam stops feeding her babies. Most quality breeder think food companies promote puppy food for the $$$'s. Not sure what is the normal daily feeding for a Brittany but shelties get 3/4 to 1 cup (depending on size). You should be able to get info googling it but if not let me know as I do know Brittany breeders. You should always be able to feel the ribs or the dog is too fat. BTW don't spay too early - I stipulate 7 to 9th mth in my contract. She needs those hormones for proper bone growth.
