For me, I generally will watch what movies are opening, and if I feel they will adjust up (or down if I'm holding short) I will keep them, and hope they continue to go up (or down) after adjust.
If I'm unsure, I'll sell them off and take whatever profits I have made up to that point.
Depending on how long you're gone, you could have a friend or family member play your port till you get back, IF you have someone close you can trust to manage it... if not... see above.
I know in the past I've seen posts here, where some players will let another player they know manage their port for them, if they know them well.
If you're going to be somewhere that you can't get to the Internet (or you have no laptop, etc....Fiji??) then I think I would get out of the stocks you are unsure about until you return...
