It is really quite simple. Compare other Potential Investments to these and see how they stack up. While Loss Avoidance is important for All Ports, it is absolutely essential for Small Ports (Under 100 MILL).
Every One (1) MILL in Losses Chews up 2 MILL in Profits. It Erases 1 MILL in Profits previously Earned. Then it takes another 1 MILL in Profits just to get back to where you were. That was the Key Point in being able to grow a Small Port Faster by NOT taking Big Risks.
Just showed him (or her) how to make Sizeable Profits with No Risk or Virtually-No-Risk. Compare the Profit Potential to the Risk Potential. Emphasis on Loss Avoidance.
