Flipping

Hello,

When one says he is flipping to SHORT does it mean I have to sell it first (LONG) before I make it SHORT or can I do it direclty. i.e. i have 50K of TOMB3 long and would like to flipped it to SHORT.

Yes, to flip a stock you are holding long you have to both sell and short. {nm} RogerMore May 02, 20:55
