From what I understand waiting to buy until the IPO is price unlocked is how it really moves, momentum, snowball downhill effect.
Looks like lots know this and do it to help it get going. I try to do my part.
I haven't seen an IPO sell out so by waiting to the next day though I haven't played during the more active seasons. So I might loose a little gain but help overall movement.
I was trying to set up a limit on and IPO but I'm thinking it only works on a long for IPO. I swear I was trying to short it with a little drop built and IPO and it bought it immediately instead.
Going to experiment a tad more.

Yeah, but you can't set a limit order "on trend"... Dec 11, 07:17
