While still not perfect, this is much better then what they scared us with last time with the last update. I still have flashing orange flashbacks from time to time.

Personally I just hope since they're doing a redesign, they should add newer cooler components to the game. I can think of a dozen ways they could let traders make money (or lose money...) by letting them make secondary markets, and trading new cool instruments (like repos, or synthetic derivatives).

They've got such a cool mechanism in place, they should really allow traders to create their own CMO securities, and market them. Allow some degree of margin trading. All kinds of stuff. The Virtual Specialist technology works great for exchange traded securities. Why not allow for the creation and evolution of a secondary OTC market? Imagine the data they could farm out of that? Plus it'd be fun as hell !
