just as i thought i figured it out, it doesn't work that way?

Shorted the moneymonster put anticipating the movie would do above the target, and that the end-price of 0 would mean big gains...

It close at $0 as expected...

 

No money gained.  Much confusion.  Is shorting them only valid for watching the price drop before the weekend?

 

What other rules are there regarding zero delist doesn't pay out?  Do the blockbuster warrants become wasted money if shorting one that isn't gunna make it and zero out?
