I'll admit, I dropped the ball. But I'm not unhappy with what I was able to do.
In December 2014 the fund was already abandoned, below IPO price, and had invested in very few of the eligible Starbonds. The first week of January, I quickly turned that around, and made it to $33 by the end of June 2015. Not great when compared to other funds, but I did invest in many of the MovieStocks RH listed. Three things took part in the lack of my contribution:
*My inability to react to news/box office/price movements in a timely fashion, and eventual uninterest in HSX in general.
*The few and far between releases of eligible, major studio fare, especially blockbusters (didn't think Hunger Games or Pitch Perfect fit the prospectus criteria). Besides those three, and XXX3, I'm having trouble finding a title that RH listed that I failed to hold and was priced above H$40 at some point. It seems that the current fund manager has overestimated what is eligible.
*Difficulty in breaking the H$40-H$45 level for the entirety of 2016, perhaps in part to the prior two points.
Could have I been more active? Have a fund that would be worth H$60m today? Sure, that's on me. Sorry I couldn't do better.
