I personally saw this in Indianapolis, and I thought it was fantastic.

However, on the note that "self-distribution is the future," I disagree entirely. The only reason it works for Kevin Smith is because he already has a devoted fanbase. Amateur filmmakers would barely get any business whatsoever for this.
