For Spielberg I think Jaws, Indy, Back to the Future, or the serious stuff Empire of the Sun, Schindlers List, etc - Abrams disssuades me so
no I see no reason to see this film.
Also, I saw my 1st commercial for SUPER8 yesterday, yes 1st - I don't know where they were showing before. And now I have zero interest in seeing this movie. That maybe Abrams style but not mine.
If this is meant to remind people of ET or Poltergeist or something along that line then count me out, I don't like those films (ok never say Poltergest but can't stand that stuff). Yes I didn't like ET, haven't seen it since a kid, but way too schmaltzy and I remember boring.
