Sometime overnight (midnight Pacific?) all of the daily volume and price changes reset to zero.
With everything reset to zero it's really easy to see the first stocks that move and there's a whole group of players that jump onto those first moving stocks, which causes them to move more, sometimes in unexpected and idiotic ways. It's the perfect time of day to try to manipulate the market by kicking off movement since you know sheeple will see it and jump on, thus increasing your profits.
Clearly some pretty crazy manipulation going on at reset. Stocks do not move that way on here. Lame. {nm} Oct 21, 00:36
