you should look closer at focus and the types of films they release. i dont think this one looks like a "bigger film"
they dont do mainstream films; they do edgy, off beat films that arent big blockbusters. to me it doesnt look mainstream enough for 2500 theaters. (when you are using a talking heads song in the ads, you arent trying to reach the average joe!)
edgy, indie comedies are historically a tough sell. take a look at pirate radio or taking woodstock. carell helps, but even notfabios theater chain is only predicting 5M
