Based off a book where the premise is more about how the holiday characters became who they are and how they all know eachother. The characters are pretty unlike any recent incarnations in film or tv.

What you are suggesting is more like the Wacky Racers (I forget the name). I for one like the new take on the characters. No more fat Coca-Cola Santa or cute Easter Bunny. More the core of the myth than the marketting machines they have become. Fresh IMHO
