So Who Saw What Last Week? (me - Battleship: A-, The Hole (Dante): C+, Dead Season: C)
Battleship: Very funny, lots of cool moments, great use of songs, entire cast likeable and engaging. Best big Hollywood film of the year. I think its best if you go in accepting that this movie exists in its own universe, that will help you forgive bad science and logic. Chicken Burrito > Shawarma
The Hole: Had to check this out since Dante was really good in the 80s (gremlins, explorers) but this wasnt much. Very simple film, nothing even as scary as what a kid may see on Nick Jr (except for some profanity) (LOL remember when every kids film in the 80s had swearing? good to hear kids calling each other 'dickhead' and the like ;)
Dead Season: Low budget zombie film saw on netflix streaming. A little bit Walking Dead-inspired (zombies called 'walkers', moral dilemmas, etc) Held my interest but very average.
