***Oscar Contest Update (unofficial winner)

At this time I have to declare billy the unofficial winner. I say unofficial because I want to let people review my work and their picks.

It was a very competitive race. You'll see that billy nailed perfects on 4 of 7 categories (that's just amazing). And only missed 4 out of a possible 35 nods. Best Picture is a tie-breaker, but he got 7 of 9 on that.

Coming very close to winning was alfjox. You'll see alf hit perfects on 2 of 7 categories. And only missed 5 out of a possible 35 nods. Best Picture is a tie-breaker, but alf got 9 of 9 on that.... extremely impressive! The only person to pick only and all nine in the Best Picture category.

Some other very good picks, to name a few:

gogreenytd.. just one best picture away from tying alfjox
grammar.. just guessed one too many best picture away from alfjox
daveart.. 2 perfect categories, 6 total misses, 8 of 9 best pictures
KalElFan.. 2 perfect categories, 6 total misses, 6 of 9 best pictures

Many other people did well. 25 total played (which I expected between 20 to 40).

All I ask now before we congratulate, crown and award billy, is people take the rest of today and check my work. Verify that I have entered your picks in correctly and that I have you marked accordingly. It's only fair to take this day for all to view this post and the documents.

If there are no objections, tomorrow I will declare billy the offical winner and get his details to award him the $50.

This was more work than I ever could have thought... LOL
