Waa-waa. Poor reviews from SXSW.

Do you mean 100% on RT with average of 8.6 out of 10? Idiot.

There are only 8 reviews and AB was taling about SXSW, not RT.

Then name one single negative review out of SXSW.

Don't ask me, just stating he was talking about SXSW. Whether or not it's true is an entirely different matter.

Exactly - this is another instance of him saying something without any facts. Which also makes the film seem bad. Which moves pricing.

The fact that Open Road just changed the release pattern from WIDE to LIMITED say a lot more.

Did they ever release a statement saying it was wide? Or did you assume and list it wide?

I checked BOM regular and it was WIDE last week. ERC still has WIDE.

Ever heard of successful platforming? Maybe that's what they're banking on. The problem is that you're making up negative news.

Well, there's also been zero marketing by Open Road thus far. That's another fact. Okay, what I offer was my opinion, not "false news".

Yes, they released a statement saying it would be released wide

Now, we all know that "nationwide" does not mean wide. But yes, they are known for wide releases.

I saw Chef at SXSW, it was slow and predictable.

And you earned the "idiot" name calling for saying "waa-waa" before your completely inaccurate statement of poor reviews out of SXSW.

I read more than a few that called it self-indulgent reflection of his own career.

Links? Or were these tweets? I was at that screening and the whole week at SXSW, CHEF was the only film people were raving about.

The root of the problem is that you, of all people, is impacting a film's movement based off of false reasoning for changing a film from...
doitdoitdoitnow
Apr 01, 11:09
Seems that it's moving just based on the BOM change. It's priced fairly high thus going to go down based on that than any reasoning IMO

Totally get that switch creates movement. I trade based on info like this but the comment makes the film sound like a train wreck.

it looks like Open Road has never opened up a film limited before. The smallest release was opening on 1k screens.

Maybe my opinion turn out to be wrong, but 54 weeks out and ther still isn't a trailer or even a poster.

4 weeks out.

Perhaps just not enough mainstream appeal? RDJ & ScarJo are only cameos. With no trailer 5.5 weeks out, I thought they might movie it.
