STORY: The film is set in 17th century France, a magical sea monster is captured by Louis XIV who believes the creature holds the keys to immortality. Meanwhile, the king's illegitimate daughter with his favorite lover comes of age and is summoned to his court. The fates of the creature and the girl intertwine to make history.
