STORY: The film is about the rise and fall of Chippendales founder Steve Banerjee, who emigrated from India to Los Angeles. He started out operating gas stations and eventually came to own them. He invested his small gas station fortune in a backgammon club which was failing when he heard about a Canadian male strip club, which became the inspiration for the highly lucrative Chippendales chain. His success spiraled out of control when he became involved with the mob and developed a drug addiction and was eventually arrested and served a sentence for hiring hitmen to kill his business partners.
