I should bend over and film my anus farting for 2.5 hrs--if quality control doesn't matter, that should make $110M+ OW and an A CinemaScore, right? And if we pay my butt $30M, it's a big-budget fart movie. That's like a Transformer with a clanking scrotum, right ("Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen;" how much did that tasteless joke cost, Paramount?)?
That's how I feel about Michael Bay.
You are correct. I'm hoping ~$225M domestic total would be enough to seem like the audience was departing en masse, but APES2 has no play against it. It's a real shame.
I guess my only hope, ever, of enjoying a "Transformers" movie in the future is if I'm not the only human being on the planet that feels this way about these films. But $104M OW pretty much says that I am.
