If one uses StarBonds for the 4% Rule Strategy, there is hardly any non-marginal Change in Price.
If Something does Change noticeably in Price, then you can Decide whether to Re-Acquire that Security or do Something Else. With the Additional Profits, you may be in a Position to do Something more Profitable. Also, there may be Different more Profitable Opportunities available. Re-Acquiring the Previously-Dumped Securities makes Sense if they are the Best Profitable Opportunities.
The ROTO has used this Rule of 4% Strategy even up to the 2.0 Port Value Level. It's a Handy-Dandy Tool.
