My comment was posted publicly and was not aimed at a certain individual; it was a joke in relation to the typical response that I've seen of why things may be undervalued. If you're bringing in a subtext of any animosity towards you, I think you're making a mistake.
What you've quoted thus far is simply a question, then a joke in relation to the response to that question. If you are reading animosity from those comments, then may be reading things that aren't there.
