See, now THIS (Suicide Squad) is more up my alley! I think it would be great if DC really embraced the dark stuff...

Leave the kddie-fare to Marvel since they are already owning it with that stuff. DC was WAY ahead of Marvel in publishing adult (read: mature) stuff with their Virtego imprint many years before Marvel stepped into that ring. Why not start the trend in film too?

For all the priaise the new SUPE2 trailer will get (and perhaps deserves), seeing that Suicide Squad trailer for the first time was the news of the day for me. Now that flick has me on board!

Batman v Superman, Latest Comic Con trailer.... This is damn exciting ... b4bad Jul 11, 13:37

insane, just insane. bravo {nm} lobogotti Jul 11, 13:48

This catches them up to Marvel. Way better than i anticipated. {nm} tradermark Jul 11, 14:17

Three minutes of footage and it "catches them up to Marvel," despite merely releasing "Man of Steel" & 2 trailers for BvS? That's hyperbole. chosenone2oo5 Jul 11, 14:19

Well outside of Bales Batman movies i thought the rest of their stuff sucked. This is on a level with Avengers. tradermark Jul 11, 14:26

I really agree with this. they have a long, long way to go to even register next to Marvel. Willroast Jul 11, 14:34

I think tm is talking about his anticipation for the movie, compared with his anticipation for the next Marvel movie (or the Marvel movie RogerMore Jul 11, 15:34

Id love to see a new Howard the DUck movie {nm} Dorfman Jul 11, 18:35

Lea Thompson's daughter is the right age now.... :D {nm} DTravel Jul 12, 09:30

damn me too. {nm} tradermark Jul 11, 14:15

Not sure if this is allowed or not but here's Suicide Squad, cam/bootleg/phone/whatever it's called now MattW Jul 11, 14:24

It's allowed. If the studio gets pissy, they'll pull it down from the source. And hope Leto resists just doing a Ledger-Joker impression. {nm} chosenone2oo5 Jul 11, 14:27

Loved the new BvS trailer, but agree with you 100% on Suicide Squad looking far better... raven headed guy with a shotgun Jul 11, 23:19

The red cape circling ... ( 2x ) .... Plus wonder woman... Looks promising ! {nm} JMT-NL Jul 11, 14:50

superman is suppose to be a symbol of hope not doom and gloom. f'n awful {nm} islander Jul 11, 15:22

He is a symbol of hope for some and a dangerous alien for others. ~JPV~ Jul 11, 15:38

i really didnt care for much of anything in the trailer: the outfit: lame, afflecks serious look: lame, luthor: lame islander Jul 11, 15:49

Well, as I've said before I liked MOS but for those who didn't, I doubt BVS is going to do it for them. ~JPV~ Jul 11, 16:02

serious look referred to Affleck inability to pull off a convincing "serious face", he looks constipated not deep and brooding. {nm} islander Jul 11, 19:29

JPV is right in that we have been spoon fed boyscout superman in all the movies. THis isn't a new direction for superman it's more like Dorfman Jul 11, 18:38

Superman was unchanged, recycling the same dozen stories from 1939 until 1980 or later. If you want a comp tradermark Jul 11, 18:47

I have to agree with Islander completely on this. MOS was so bad, this isn't doing anything to make me think this will be any batter {nm} JDolphin Jul 11, 23:04

The only thing I don't care for too much is JEISE... Still not too convinced he'll do a good Luthor. {nm} Dorfman Jul 11, 18:39

what a stupid premise. who's excited about this? {nm} masonacj Jul 11, 19:15

I'll be the lone wolf. *raises hand* {nm} ~JPV~ Jul 11, 23:13

Rock solid, people, Loving the numerous references to Frank Miller's Dark Night Returns... {nm} wkelc Jul 12, 06:35

much more encouraging. WW looks great, and I find myself warning to Batfleck somehow. {nm} CG63 Jul 12, 09:20

warming! Not a Freudian slip, I swear. {nm} CG63 Jul 12, 09:20
