I think it will do fairly well and I think the reason is, as you mentioned, that the cast will be all over the promotion circuit.
"This is the End" also was a bizarre concept that seemed like it wouldn't draw much attention but these guys know how to sell a movie regardless of howweird it may be (excluding that awful medieval times flick).
