I'm rewatching E.T. for the first time in at least half a decade, and I STILL hate this movie. E.T. is ugly, like '80s sewage mutant ugly.
And every sound he makes sounds like a geezer choking on a heart attack.
Whatever critics thought he was cuddly clearly grew up in a bleak era of American culture. Flipper is cuddly. Kung Fu Panda is cuddly. Dunston (from "Dunston Checks In") was cuddly...enough.
This thing should just shoo.
