HSX POLL -- DOES NARNIA 3 OPEN LARGER THAN NARNIA 2 or has that shipped sailed on that franchise? otftmfw Feb 19, 09:41

If they release it between Thanksgiving & Christmas I believe it will do just fine. Another Summer release would be unwise. {nm} arbybaker Feb 19, 09:44

2nd one should have opened in December like the 1st did, and the 3rd will...I think the 3rd will do better than the 2nd {nm} lapuckfan Feb 19, 09:46

Considering the budget has been slashed to to Percy Jackson level (from 225 to about 100) and no IMAX or 3D release is planned. for now..... notfabio Feb 19, 10:05

The one variable is if Fox-Walden could convince faith groups to get behind it again (most refused to get behind the 2nd Narnia ...) notfabio Feb 19, 10:11

that would be a considerable drop off from prt. 2 {nm} otftmfw Feb 19, 10:12

They also would have to contend with getting 400-500 less theatres probably (like Disney did with Princess and the Frog) {nm} notfabio Feb 19, 10:23

I think the ship has sailed. Caspian wasn't particularly liked, and it would surprising to see another one becoming a bigger success {nm} numbersix_99 Feb 19, 10:26

i concur 1000%. adrenalin112 seems to think a touch differently, but i think his history here showcases his specialness otftmfw Feb 19, 12:47
