The best movies have maintained their popularity from plays on DVD, VHS, cable, etc...
if 3D is such an important part of the experience, they're not going to be able to carry that over into other formats until more people can afford 3D televisions which I think is a long ways away. The content has to deliver without 3D and unfortunately, so much is getting tied into making these movies 3D that it's forgetting that. For instance, I thought the Crazies was much better than My Bloody Valentine 3D and it didn't need the gimmick to bring people in.

I agree... the film is slow... especially in the middle, because of the need to set up all kinds of cute and pretty 3d stuff Mar 01, 08:45
