Really disappointed in Runaway's. (Mild spoilers inside).
Growing up in New York I was really looking forwared to a movie about Joan Jett (who I saw many times growing up in local clubs).
What this movies main focus turned out to be was the story of the Dakota Fanning charactor "Cherie" and the Kirsten Stewart (Joan Jett ) story was always in the background.
It was almost painfull watching Fanning (15 years old when she filmed this?) play the part of what was basically soft porn.
Stewart was wonderful as JJ and Maybe they will make a sequel JJ and the Blackhearts and let Kristen do her thing. It would be a much better movie.
