yeah, shouldn’t matter for OW. but I agree with your remarks on end of the film. the last scene was terrible

$17-23M is in play for OW. the higher it goes the better chance it has at crossing $50M. this next week is going to help with increased holiday business, but as you said earlier this week the run won’t be as strong as the last and I certainly agree with that after having seen it.

my red flags were that HSX was severely undervaluing the potential. you don’t have to look far back to see how thirsty Rated R action fans were for Den, Wick, etc. while I understand those films are different, the original was an unexpected sleeper hit that did well on rentals, played consistently on FX and the official trailer had 10M views.

the tools/data are there for the trades to call this better than $10M. That’s just lazy.
