My official calls (UPDATE) Full calls for Fall and Winter Frame... and anaysis inside....
For Fall Frame (Oct to Thanksgiving). (review)
1. No Time To Die
2. Dune
3. Eternals
For Winter Frame (Dec-Feb). (update)
1. Spiderman: Far From Hone
2. Sing 2
3. Matrix Resurrections
Understandably, my pick on "Dune" over-taking "Eternals" is raising eyebrows, but I believe a long awards run awaits "Dune" and it will play it thru both seasons. Our next "1917"-like performer, but one I feel could be even stronger.. It also plays on HBO MAX for only 31 days, not during Awards Season.
As for "Matrix" Keanu Reeves is a huge box office force, but opening with MATRIX4 is "Sing 2" and "The King's Man" during same week now- creating a ton of compeition that will over-saturate everything. Spiderman can now win the Winter Frame pretty easily just off a huge opening (which I expect) and holding on.
As usual. Love having the box office back, and my faith goes with them on a successful move season. All the best, HSX.ers..
