Emmys hardlined on eligibility requirements after Cobra Kai did in-theatre ticketed events prior to debut. (more)
I think it just applies to screenings BEFORE it makes a TV/streaming debut, not sure, but the weird 1 hour Rooftop Concert carve out on the 30th event was specially cleared with the Emmys before they went ahead with it. Definitely in-theatre ticketed events before now disqualify for Emmy consideration.
Consideration screenings or the "fan/premiere" events for The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett I think are still OK just it can be paid for events.
